KR400 Copper Wire Granulator
Recover Copper from Mixed Household and Industrial Cable
The KR400 is a dry-type copper wire granulator for small and medium recycling operations processing prepared household, building and industrial cable.

Is KR400 Right for Your Material?
Share cable type, diameter, copper content and target capacity. We will confirm direct granulation or the required pre-treatment.
- Direct feed: prepared cable with an outer diameter of 0.5–10 mm
- Cable with an outer diameter of 10–20 mm: stripping and/or pre-shredding required
- Plugs, terminals and iron: remove before feeding or add magnetic separation
- Oily or wet cable: degrease and dry before processing

Tell Us What Cable You Process
Confirm cable composition and preparation before selecting optional equipment.

Household & Building Wire
Prepared household and building wire.

Mixed Cable
Sorted mixed cable with contaminants removed.

Industrial Control Cable
Control cable; pre-shredding may be required.

Pretreated Thick Cable
Pretreated thick or bundled cable.
From Prepared Cable to Separated Outputs
Dry granulation, airflow separation and vibration refinement produce separate copper-rich and plastic-rich streams.
Sort & Prepare
Remove iron, plugs and unsuitable contaminants.
Granulate
The 11 kW crusher releases copper from insulation.
Air Separate
Frequency-controlled airflow separates by density.
Vibration Refine
Two vibrating separation tables further screen and refine the copper-rich and plastic-rich fractions.
Collect Outputs
Copper-rich and plastic-rich streams discharge separately.

Two Documented 100 kg Test Batches
These figures describe the recorded batches only and are not guaranteed results for every cable mixture.
100 kg Input · 45 Minutes
- Diameter: approx. 5–15 mm
- Pre-treatment: stripping and shredding
- Copper-rich output: 39.0 kg
- Recorded copper purity: 98.6%
- Recorded copper recovery: 96.3%
- Plastic-rich output: 58.5 kg
100 kg Input · 40 Minutes
- Multi-core cable with thick plastic jacket
- Pre-treatment: shredding
- Copper-rich output: 44.0 kg
- Recorded copper purity: 98.8%
- Recorded copper recovery: 96.8%
- Plastic-rich output: 53.2 kg
Evidence note: the current report does not state sampling weight, laboratory method or repeated-test count. Publish the purity and recovery figures as recorded batch data, not as universal guarantees.
A Practical Mid-Range Cable Recycling System
The KR400 fills the gap between a small entry-level granulator and a larger industrial line. It gives growing recyclers room to increase daily processing while keeping the configuration matched to the actual feed.
- Balanced capacity and investment
- Frequency-controlled airflow and vibration
- Dry crushing and separation
- Configurable pre-treatment modules
- Material-based configuration before quotation

*The technical sheet lists 200–300 kg/h. Actual throughput depends on cable type, diameter, copper content, preparation, contamination and feeding consistency. Two recorded 100 kg batches were equivalent to approximately 133–150 kg/h. Confirm the planned capacity against your cable before sizing the line.

Before You Select a KR400
Prepared household wire, building wire, automotive wire, network cable and selected industrial control cable. Final suitability depends on diameter, length, conductor type, copper content and contamination.
No. The technical sheet lists 150–200 kg/h, but actual throughput varies with cable type, diameter, copper content, preparation and feeding conditions. Two recorded 100 kg batches were equivalent to approximately 133–150 kg/h. Confirm the planned capacity against your material before sizing the line.
Not always. Short, clean and suitably sized wire may feed directly. Long, bundled, thick or mixed cable generally benefits from pre-shredding.
The core crushing and air-separation process is dry. A water table is optional when the material and output target justify wet polishing.
Factory trials are supported. Send material photos or videos, cable diameter, estimated copper content, contaminants and target capacity first. Our team will confirm whether a factory trial is required and arrange the test conditions.
